Download ResumeDiagnosed with ADHD only in the 11th grade, I was bullied through school for always being different. I was labelled the “difficult child” and that came with an mixed bag of anxiety, depression, and social anxiety. Surviving and thriving through those challenging times were my biggest life lesson. Ultimately I was lucky to not only be able to afford the right help at the right time, but finding the right therapists and experts to hand me correct coping tools. I was also blessed to have holistic tools like meditation, breathwork, ayurveda to complement regular therapy. It made me wake up to the fact that others were not as privileged as I was. It sparked a need in me to create awareness of mental health issues, especially in the rural areas on India, where mental health is still a huge stigma. And so was born my mental health care initiative which has been the single most rewarding thing I have done in my life. Over the course of 2022 I launched and created protocols for rural schools that when implemented showed a dramatic difference in the lives of underprivileged children.

I was a typical teenager in love with junk food. It wasn’t until my mental health struggle that I realized how connected the mind and gut were. I read many inspirational books, and started experimenting on myself. The results were astounding. Almost immediately I could tell which foods made me feel good and which didn’t. Cooking was always second nature for me, however creating these recipes took my love of cooking to another level.
